Here's the schedule I used to have.
9th grade, 2nd semester-
1st- World History IIH: My teacher is young and inexperienced it seems, unlike my previous teacher. I can describe the class in one word: ghetto. Today (2-2-00) we spent the day correcting our homework, and he gave us an ultra-boring lecture. I wish I had stayed with my previous teacher, but I'll make the most of it.
I really should've stuck with my old history teacher... I don't think I learned much in this class.
2nd- Language Arts 9AH: It's the same teacher as last semester. I feel the class is more fast-paced this semester though. I know most of the kids in this class, and I'm starting to like the teacher, and I constantly get good grades and write good essays, so this class doesn't seem so hard after all.
1st semester was much better.
3rd- Integrated Math 3BH: Our teacher is the mom of a student I used to go to school with in middle school o_O After two days, I've decided there is not much I can learn in the class. I like to goof off a lot, since we always have work time. It's weird: the class is divided into two sections, where the upperclassmen sit in one side of the room, while us freshmen sit on the other. But it seems fun so far. (Even if I'm not learning much...)
Again, I liked 1st semester math much better. But I got to goof off more in this class.
4th- Japanese 1B: This is the class that prohibited me from having the same schedule I had last semester. Since sensei's prep moved from 5th period to 6th, my former class moved from 6th period to 5th period-- but I can't take that, because I have band as well. So I'm taking it fourth. There are a lot more freshman in this class, and it seems like it won't be as mature as my previous class... but I'll see.
Towards the end of the semester I messed up a few times, but all in all it was still a cool period.
5th- Concert Band: Since last semester, all the kids from the 6th period marching band moved in because now, 6th period is jazz band. It's okay I guess, I still suck at the saxophone, yet the class is simple. The only thing I regret is now we're playing more... we used to play on average about one half of the week, then we'd goof off the other half. But because marching band played everyday, we're now doing so...
This class was probably the only one that got a little better than 1st semester. And Florida was cool too.
6th- Biology II: Same biology teacher. It sucks having biology 6th period, especially since it's after band and I had Japanese last semester, and I was used to having an easy two periods after lunch. Sad to say, I'm *not* the smartest kid in my biology class anymore. Maybe I'll switch periods.
I was too quiet in this class. And some of the people were annoying. I liked 1st semester Bio better.
